Proof Of Vaccination Required to Book

Effective July 2025, pet grooming facilities in Colorado are required to comply with updated vaccine regulations under the Pet Animal Care and Facilities Act (PACFA).

As a result, we must have current vaccination records on file for the following:

  • Rabies — pets over 16 weeks of age (a rabies tag alone is not considered sufficient proof)
  • Distemper and Parvovirus — dogs over 8 weeks of age
  • FVRCP — cats over 8 weeks of age

You may provide your pet’s vaccination records in one of two ways:

  • Present a physical vaccine record at the time of your appointment
  • Email the records to Support@dogsavvy.com prior to your scheduled service.

If you are unable to provide the required vaccination records, we will be unable to perform grooming services for your pet in accordance with regulations enforced by the Colorado Department of Agriculture. Under state law, the only exceptions apply to pets with documented medical conditions that prevent vaccination due to autoimmune or other life-threatening conditions. In these cases, we require an official exemption letter from your pet’s veterinarian in order to comply with State of Colorado regulations.
